Mutts in Distress is an animal shelter located in Little Hallingbury on the Herts/Essex border. We rescue dogs from local pounds that would otherwise be destroyed, and offer these for rehoming.

PLEASE NOTE: We only re-home dogs within the Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Cheshunt, Cambridge, Hitchin, Stevenage, Broxbourne, Ware, Epping, Baldock, Royston, Sudbury, Romford, Colchester and Clacton areas. We have difficulty in making home checks further afield and we will not re-home a dog without one. If you do not live in these towns please do not phone us, just CLICK HERE for a rescue closer to you.
